This is the opening screen of Homemade Math. Clicking on an exercise icon opens that exercise and also its corresponding help text that explains how to solve its particular type of problem. Click the Scratchpad icon to open the built in scratchpad.

Using the built in scratchpad to solve a decimal multiplication problem. Clicking a symbols at the top left generates a corresponding tile that you can drag around on the screen in any way you wish. If you need a 7, just click the 7 hold the left mouse button down and drag the 7 tile were ever you wish. You can move the tiles around after you let go of them. If you don't get it just right the first time just drag it to a new location. Click the Clear Scratchpad Icon to clean the screen of all tiles or you can drag them one at a time to the Recycle Bin if you only need to get rid of one or two tiles. Go back to the exercise menu by clicking the Choose Exercise Icon. When the Game Credit progress bar is full you can play one of 4 games. After you play a game Homemade Math automatically sends you to the next exercise. If you want you can move to what ever exercise you want by clicking its icon. If you get 10 correct answers in a row and are sent to the play game screen but would rather work out more math problems, you can hold the f and j keys down and go back to the exercises.

Saucers and Space Spiders drop their rocks on you. You can shoot them out of the sky exploding them into little fireworks. Catch Fire Power tokens and shoot faster. Catch Shield Tokens and you can absorb 3 rocks for each shield token that you catch. 3 Levels of play. In the 3rd level some of your enemies start homing in on you. In the third level you can win a bonus game by reaching the gate that appears.

Fire Flies and Dragon Flies drop their rocks on you. You can shoot them with an expanding bug net and put them in your bug collection. You can up or down the volume by clicking on the plus or minus at the volume control.

Smelt Lake has Smelt that drop crabs on you. Spear them throughout 3 levels of play.

Fight off the space frogs, can you get through all 3 rounds and win the bonus game by reaching the gate. If you get to close to the upper planet's gravity field thing flip.
