• 8 MB Free Hard Drive space. Note: if you play it from the CD, it doesn't use any hard drive space.
• 8 MB RAM

Practicing the 14 basic math exercises in Homemade Math will give you and or your child a strong foundation for all other math. It is a little dry or sometimes fatiguing to learn math skills so i put a shooting game in for breaks between practices. I have watched children learn with it and noticed that sometimes they need some help figuring out how to do the problems but once they get it they can practice and reinforce their math skills. Sometimes a parent forgets how to do some of the problems, because they are not using math themselves. There is scrollable help text and graphics showing how to solve each kind of problem. Read about doing the problems while working on them. Random number generation insures fresh new problems. It also has a built in scratchpad. Just drag the numbers and symbols around on the screen in any way you like to solve your math problem, type your answer and hit the enter key. Answer correctly 10 times without a miss, play Saucers and Space Spiders, Fire Flies and Dragon Flies, Smelt Lake or Space frogs. Homemade Math automatically steps you through the exercises. You can choose the exercise you want to practice by clicking its icon instead of the one selected for you. Play it from the CD without having to install it on your computer or install the full version from the CD on your computer. Free downloadable shareware version also available below. Use the shareware version as long as you like.
